Working in the York & North Yorkshire Office of Police, Fire, Crime and Commissioning is varied, fast-paced and comes with significant responsibility

To be considered for any post, you will need a strong public service ethos, combined with an interest in policing and the criminal justice system. You will also need a good understanding of the role of the Mayor and their work in North Yorkshire and the City of York. Strong personal empathy, listening skills and an ability to be considerate of others are also essential, as all members of the team offer a service to the public.
