Community safety funding 2013/14

Historically North Yorkshire Police Authority did not always gather robust information in relation to the positive impact our community safety funding had, or had not achieved. The Police and Crime Commissioner is committed to taking steps towards changing our approach to community safety funding going forward with the aim of investing in evidence based initiatives at a local level which can achieve positive outcomes for individuals and communities. Therefore, our approach from October 2014 to March 2016 will support the collection of outcome based evidence, in relation to ‘what works?’, to inform future funding.

In 2013/14, the Police and Crime Commissioner, Julia Mulligan committed to financially supporting local community safety services. The following Crime and Disorder Grants have been made by Julia.
