Co-location at Bedale

There is a shared premises at Bedale from which both the Fire Service and Police operate.

Co-location at Boroughbridge

Planning approval for a scheme to extend the current North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service premises to provide accommodation for North Yorkshire Police teams to co-locate has recently been obtained. The move to this smaller, fit for purpose accommodation with shared facilities, is estimated to realise an annual revenue saving of £15,000 per annum. Once officers have moved into the new accommodation North Yorkshire Police will be able to dispose of the current Boroughbridge Police station. North Yorkshire Police has already removed the capital rolling programme costs associated with the upkeep of the facility from the budget giving an estimated saving of approx £167,000 over the next 10 years.
