Whether your Force has at any time entered into an agreement similar to that between Virgin and the Metropolitan Police whereby compensation recovered following private prosecutions in which the Force provided evidence or were otherwise involved was to be shared.

You will no doubt be aware of the concerns expressed by the Lord Chief Justice about this issue, and of the Government’s intention to revise the Guidance to PCCs on the matter.
